Clients/Projects: Frostig Collection
Directed promotion of the series of commissioned artworks. The inaugural collection featured five prominent Southern California artists – Charles Arnoldi, Michael C. McMillen, Gwynn Murrill, Sarah Perry and Ken Price – who created a maquette of their own work to cast in bronze. The five small sculptures came boxed in a set. The second series consisted of three bronzes by architect Frank Gehry, and artists Robert Graham and R. Kenton Nelson. The Frostig Center, located in Pasadena, CA is dedicated to helping children with learning disabilities, including dyslexia, non-verbal learning disabilities and ADHD, and is recognized asa leader in research and teaching. In the prior school year, four Frostig parents (Deb Heisley, Celia Piazza, Chris Piazza and Stephanie Rasines) started an annual project called The Frostig Collection to raise funds to hire a permanent full-time social skills specialist.
